EZGO partners with Windross Farm Golf Course

EZGO has been appointed to New Zealand’s newest Golf course. Windross Farm Golf course opens next monthand is the former Manukau Golf asset . Peter Talyancich Managing Director for EZGO spoke to Golfer Pacific.
“We are thrilled to add Windross Farm to the growing list of EZGO course's in New Zealand. As well as its great location close to AKL city and Auckland Airport it’s located less than 5km's from EZGO’s head office in Papakura.
Auckland’s newest course will be spectacular and the club is hopeful there will be future opportunities to host major events and international golf tourists. 22 Golf cars have been ordered for the launch of the new golf course.
“Re-signing with Windross is a testament to the longstanding relationship EZGO has had with Manukau Golf Club. The strong relationship has been very beneficial to both parties over numerous years and it proves that often 'you get what you pay for'. Partnering with them at the new course is exciting and positive for Windross, EZGO and NZ golf.”
Stewart Halligan General Manager of the Manukau Golf Club is delighted with the partnership MGC has developed over recent years with EZGO and this re-signing is confirmation of the strong relationship.
Windross Farm Golf Course commenced 4 years ago, on land located at Alfriston, South Auckland.  The course commenced when Fletcher Construction purchased the land at the Manukau Golf Course in Takanini.  Golf designer Brett Thomson with assistance from Phil Tataurangi as course consultant have been instrumental in designing and shaping the new course transforming it from a flat piece of farmland to a links styled course design.
Stewart Halligan says it has been a massively challenging undertaking by our club to create a sensational golf course with clubhouse and an all year round driving range with covered bays. The feedback we have received from many golfing aficionados from NZ and overseas who have visited Windross Farm has been extremely inspiring and heartening.
Windross Farm will be open for play by members and member’s guests only from the 1st of September this year.
