Fox trots onto European Tour

Ryan Fox is now on the world’s second biggest golf circuit, the European Tour.
Fox gained full playing rights for the European Tour after finishing fourth in the points standings for Europe’s second tier circuit, the Challenge Tour.
The top 15 player in the points standings, known as the Road to Oman, get to play the European Tour and Fox’s elevation makes up for last year when he missed the top 15 by one place.
“After a big finish in the last few events of the Challenge Tour season, I’m very happy to finish in fourth place in the Road to Oman and secure a European Tour card for next year,” Fox said.
The Aucklander earned $240,000 on the Challenge Tour this year, courtesy of six top-five finishes which included his career second win on the tour at the Northern Ireland Open.
