Just 23 spots left. The new Paradise Coast Golf Classic

The new Paradise Coast Golf Classic has piqued the interest of many golfers with the field nearly full. It’s the first time the three courses have combined like this, and the concept is certainly appealing. Many liking the idea of the variety. Three different courses in three days and each one quite different. It’s hoped the tournament will become a permanent fixture and start to include other Coromandel Courses.

Patrick Kerr, Chair of Enterprise Whangamata, the business association running the tournament believes “… there’s a huge worldwide golf trade in stay and play packages and the Coromandel is perfectly placed to capitalise on this.”

Short distances between courses, close to major cities, happy to host campervans and a real variety of resort and country tracks gives the Coromandel another string to its bow.

The Paradise Coast Golf Classic or the PCGC is played over Lakes Resort-Pauanui, Tairua and Whangamata courses from Dec 1st to Dec 3. Entries still open at www.whangamata.org.nz
